In 2014, Hertz Rental Car corporation collaborated with Chevrolet Motor Division to build 75 fully optioned Corvettes as part of Hertz's Fun Collection. These cars were available to rent from select Hertz locations and drew attention to the Hertz brand while separating Hertz from other rental car companies that only offered standard rental cars. After one year, these unique and rare Corvette's were sold off to the public with low miles. The unique history of these cars combined with the extremely low build total makes these Corvettes a pure collector car! These Corvette's all featured 3LT trim combinations, Competition seats, automatic transmissions, navigation, power everything, glass roof panel, and more leather than a tannery. They were all finished in Hertz's corporate color of yellow with a black stinger stripe, yellow brake calipers, and gorgeous chrome wheels. The particular example for sale here is #64 of the 75 cars produced, and wears a plaque on the center console denoting such along with the VIN. It has very low mileage and has been lovingly cared for and garaged by the previous owner. In their six years of ownership, it has accumulated only ten thousand miles and was used primarily only for Corvette shows and fun road trips.
