The 2016 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo is a rear-wheel-drive race car developed for the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo one-make racing series. Unlike most race cars, the Super Trofeos are built on the same assembly line at the Sant' Agata factory that builds the more mundane Huracans for the street. It features a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 620 horsepower mated to a lightning fast shifting six-speed sequential gearbox. All this raw power and fury is then sent only to the rear wheels, making this a very exciting car to drive. The car is characterized by its aerodynamic enhancements, including a prominent rear wing, front splitter, and canards. It also equipped with features like a roll cage, carbon fiber seats, and a multi-point harness. While this Lamborghini was intended to be a race car from the factory, it does have a production VIN number and functioning head and tail lights. So depending upon your local regulations you may actually be able to drive this raucous race car downtown on the square should you so choose. This particular Super Trofeo has been used for track days as indicated from the myriad of event stickers placed on the windshield(actually on the tear off that is still present), and you can see a video of it touring the local race track on Youtube with a quick search.
